Back in the old days, there was only one sort of athletic tape. It was sticky, it was difficult to use, and it was going to sting coming off. It was just some-thing that you got accustomed to. You see, it is sort of half-way between sports tape & gauze bandages. It is soft like gauze & it doesn't stick to your skin, but it holds in place like tape. I don't know what the secret is, but for some or another reason it has been designed to only stick to itself. When you place it on your skin, it doesn't snag any-thing. Nonetheless, if you wrap it around in the correct way, it will stay firmly in its place. After that, you can reinforce it with a layer of athletic tape if you wish to.

Of course, even though all these variations in fitness sports tape have truly helped those among us involved in athletics, the most imperative thing is still applying it properly. Athletic taping is some-thing you should learn from your coach. No matter how high tech your gear, if you don't know how to use it it will not do you any good.
